Vincent Furlan, International Research Coordinator
Vincent previously served as an advisor in research and studies at the Council of European Municipalities and Regions. There, he conducted research and translated the findings from his studies into effective communication campaigns and policy proposals. Earlier, his work as a researcher in Germany and an economic analyst in Brazil exposed him to diverse economic realities. In Latin America, he witnessed the societal risks arising from a system riddled with injustice and a lack of transparency.
Vincent graduated in Economics and holds a Master of Science in International Economics, Business, and Strategy from the Institut d'Economie Scientifique et de Gestion. His decision to join foodwatch reflects his deep commitment to building a fairer food system, where information is transparent, consumers and producers are protected, and environmental sustainability is a priority.
When not driving foodwatch research, you'll likely find Vincent hitting the pavement as an avid long-distance runner.
